The committee are pleased to announce that the club has again achieved swim21 accredited status on 26th September 2012. The accreditation is for a period of 4 years, subject to annual review, and continues on from our original swim21 accreditation achieved in 2004.
Our accreditation is at two levels Swimming Teaching and Skill Development, being the building blocks for competitive swimming at higher levels. This time we have also added the masters foundation module for full audit and been successful.
Shortly we hope to have new certificates to be mounted above the notice board.
We must still endeavour to improve the quality of the teaching and individual achievement of our swimmers, the awarding of swim21 status is the externally audited validation of these aims.
